Coaching the Inspired Entrepreneur

Since 2001, I have utilized my expertise, knowledge and skills to bring programs to the Inspired Entrepreneur which provided support to the belief that until you can manage the inner game as a business owner, the task of managing the business is more difficult – and unnecessarily so.  As an author, speaker, consultant, coach, workshop facilitator and resource center for the brave souls who know their place is not in a corporate setting, I have provided the following programs: 

Program:  The 4-Dimensions of Success 

I have a double major in Management and Finance and a Master’s in Organizational Management; I have also been a student of personal and professional development since the late 1970’s.  When my passion turned to sharing the many principles with an eager audience of small business owners, I found there were a staggering number of principles to which we are expected to adhere in order to be successful.  My mission was to bring this complex list into a cohesive and manageable number of combining the many principles into a smaller number of categories which would not confound and overwhelm the student new to personal development. 

My creative response was The 4-Dimensions of Success, a program that takes its participants through four primary levels of personal development:

Desire:  How to capture the desires of your heart at such a level that your passion will drive you to new levels of expectation and delivery – and embrace the sacrifices necessary to achieve a desired objective.

Direction:  What resources, skills, opportunities, roadblocks, and actions steps are necessary to take the shortest route to success; planning to work smarter rather than harder.

Determination:  Tapping into the inner game; learning what it is that makes you tick and keeps you “in the game” when a lesser man would have thrown in the chips.

Discipline:  The difference between those who achieve and those who do not most frequently shows up in the area of discipline;   our freedom to choose a desired lifestyle is impacted by the amount of discipline we master.   This discipline can be in daily personal and business habits, in the business model we choose to follow and the systems we put in place to make our life effective and efficient.

Program:  Business Strategies for the Inspired Entrepreneur

This program was designed with the Inspired Entrepreneur in mind.  Trained and experienced in the process of Strategic Planning – more often used for the benefit of major corporations, I continued to encounter entrepreneurs who were either totally unaware of the strategic planning process, felt it was limited to a corporate setting, or feared they did know how to use the tools available to them. 

Once again, my passion kicked in as I felt a responsibility to modify a language and process that did nothing more than overwhelm a small business owner in such a manner that my clients are now able to tap into the power of strategic planning and experience the level of success that can only come when the actions required to achieve a remarkable outcome are made visual and become an interactive foundation for entrepreneurial growth.

Out of this work my clients are able to create a personal MAP (Motivated Action Plan) which keeps them “actively engaged in positive, life-altering actions that will provide them with long-term, sustainable benefit!”  Not only do they experience an accelerated level of success on a particular project – they learn a process that allows them to repeat that process whenever they are inspired by a new endeavor. 

Program:  Create Your Life – By Your Design  (The 90-Day Challenge to Accelerated Success)

Sometimes all we need is a little kick in the pants to get us off ground zero - the 90-Day Challenge is just that tool!  The program takes the participant through a series of questions that helps identify a particular goal, the opportunities which surround that goal, the action steps and resources required to achieve it, and any road blocks that may stand in the way of achievement.  This quick and easy process and follow-up to an accountability partner is designed to stimulate creative thinking, immediate shift and results which are frequently beyond expectations.   Additionally, it is designed in such a manner that the reader changes the entire process they utilize to assess the goals they want to achieve and become more personally engaged in creative thinking for positive change.

2010 – The New Decade of Shifting Skill Sets

Having paved the way for my Inspired Entrepreneurs to tap into their soul spaces and manage their inner game – as it relates to building a thriving business that will support a positive life-style, it is time to step up the pace and provide skill sets in the areas of business that can most quickly make a difference in our current economic environment.  This work will be foundational that we must co-exist in a place of living generously and reciprocating support. 

Those acts require a more efficient manner of connecting, communicating, building relationships and supporting other like-minded entrepreneurs who have been inspired or forced to leave the workforce behind.  Throughout the coming months I would encourage you to visit often and take advantage of the different tips, tools, techniques and resources that will be flowing into this section of my site.  The following areas have been selected as those most meeting the criteria for a New Decade of Shifting Skill Sets: 

Social Networking:  I doubt there is a business that can compete in today’s economy without engaging, at least at some level, in Social Networking.  Here you will learn what applies to your business and what does not, how best to utilize the growing list of programs and platforms which allow you to participate, which may be best for your needs, and the benefits you can hope to expect in return for your participation.
